Mirror polished stainless steel, synthetic oil, soundless motor.

400cm in diameter and 190cm in depth.

This is a project of kinetic or moving sculpture and has been made for the hall of a large modern structure. The sculpture design has three layers; three semicircles that fall into each other and slowly rotating away from one another in different directions. The slow and lethargic movement inside the sculpture gives the impression that everything is moving around you whilst the sculpture itself is static. When you stand in front of the sculpture you feel the rotation of the earth.
